Data Backup
Damaged hard Drive? STOP!
Don't make it worse!
Hard drive failure is one of the most common problems affecting comptuers today. A typical hard drive has a small motor and
moving parts inside that, over time, will inevitably fail. Backing up your data is one of the most important and effective practices to ensure you are
never left without all of your personal or financial information as well as all of the pictures, music, and videos you've spent years collecting. If you
hear any strange noises (clicking, humming, whistling, etc.) coming from inside your computer stop what you are doing, shut down, and call us right away. As long a the hard drive still
turns on, we should be able to get that data transferred safely to another drive before it is lost.
In the unfortunate case where it is not caught in time data recovery can still be performed but it becomes a very specialized task that will need to be
sent to a facility with the ability to rebuild the mechanical parts of your drive. Never try to disassemble a hard drive on your own. This will only make
it more difficult to recover the data. We recommend an outside company called Recovery Force.
